Yang

The light side of any Yin Yang polarity: The sunny side of a hill, the front of a building, the extrovert sex, the Sun; stillness, inactivity, enjoyment, etc.

Yang always contains the seed for Yin.

Yin

The dark side of any Yin Yang polarity: The shady side of a hill, the back of a building, the introvert sex, the Moon; jitteriness, activity, fret, etc.

Yin always contains the seed for Yang.

Yin Yang

Chinese concept of complementary polarity: Yin and Yang.

The two sides of this polarity are in constant exchange whereby one changes into the other. Any two exponents of Yin and Yang, such as the Moon and the Sun, are not enemies of each other but instead express mutual necessity and blending without conflict.
